Student FAQ

  • You will receive an email from Thrivecart with the subject line: “[Shelby Leigh] Verify your email to access your courses.”

    Please click the button in this email to set up your account. All you do is create your password, and click “Complete Registration” to be taken to your course dashboard!

    You have to create your account first before trying to log in, so please click into that email to create your password.

    We recommend bookmarking this login link: https://cart.shelbyleigh.co/l/ so you can login to your courses easily. You’ll also find a “Student Login” button in the menu of this website to make things easy for you too!

  • If the above steps don’t work, please try clicking “forgot password” to reset your password. If you need help, please send an email to support@shelbyleigh.co with your name, email address, and a screenshot of the issue so we can troubleshoot.

  • Log into your course dashboard and scroll down - all courses shown in color are courses you have access to.

    If you know you purchased something that isn’t shown, it’s possible you used a different email and have two accounts. Send us an email if you’d like us to combine both accounts in one, and let us know which email is preferred.

    If you purchased an add-on such as the Hooks and Hacks bundle, or the Author Marketing Template pack, please refer to your original email confirmation when you purchased, which has links to access them in Google Docs. If you can’t find them, send us an email and we’ll share it with you!

    Please note the Poetry Club is housed on a different course platform. You can still log in here as normal to access The Poetry Club.

Account access support

  • The TikTok mobile app has many more features than desktop. If you are following our TikTok guide, use the mobile app for the best results and experience.

  • It really depends on which you’d like to focus on first! If you already have an established Instagram account, but you haven’t used TikTok, then I’d recommend exploring the TikTok guide, and vice versa.

  • We’ve all heard the importance of niching down, but in the case of platforms like TikTok, it’s really true!

    The more different audiences you’re speaking to, the more unclear your message is. If you are wanting to use TikTok, I recommend focusing on one genre/niche only, and if you’d like to have a separate account for another genre/niche, do so once you have figured out what content works well for you.

  • Thank for your interest in working with me! I don’t manage social media accounts for others at this time. I truly believe it is in a person’s best interest to learn how to market themselves and their work. You will better learn what messaging is working for your products which helps other areas of marketing too!

    If you are looking for a social media manager, I am unfortunately not a good fit for your needs at this time.

  • Templates are delivered in Canva so all that’s needed is a free Canva account!

    We have a full tutorial video inside the Creative's Content Club called How to Use the Templates. Be sure to watch that so you know what to do!

    If you need further support, I recommend checking out the design and help center Canva has available to help you with design basics.

  • Pause your membership for 1-2 months so you don't lose your current rate. Please email us at support@shelbyleigh.co and request a pause.

    Cancel your membership (credit/debit card users) 

    To cancel, click this link and enter the email address your membership is under. You'll receive a link in your email to your customer portal where you can cancel your subscription with the click of a button.
